Short answers to how Nomad works: signing in, your plan, documents, billing, your household, and your calendar. If your question is not here, email hello@nomadlifestyle.io and a person answers.
Getting in
How do I sign in?
There is no password. Enter your email on the sign-in page and you get a magic link. Click it and you are in, on any device. Prefer one click? Use Continue with Google on the same page.
The link expired or never arrived
Magic links are single-use and time out for your security. Request a fresh one from the sign-in page, and check your spam or promotions folder if it has not landed within a minute or two.
Should I forward a sign-in email?
No. The link signs in whoever clicks it, so treat it like a key. If someone in your household needs access, invite them as a co-user instead and they get their own sign-in.
Your plan and tasks
Where does my plan come from?
You answer a few questions about your move: where you are going, when, who is coming. Nomad generates every task your specific route needs, across visas, taxes, money, housing, healthcare, and logistics, each one dated and prioritized. Not a generic checklist. Yours.
Can I edit or snooze tasks?
Yes. Check tasks off, change due dates, or snooze anything that is not this week's problem. The plan is a working document, not homework.
What happens if my destination or timing changes?
Update your move details in Settings and the plan recalibrates. Tasks your new route needs get added with fresh due dates. Nothing you have already worked on gets deleted or overwritten.
Documents
What goes in the document vault?
Your checklist is derived from the visa paths for your destination, so you know exactly which documents to gather. Upload PDFs and photos and everything lives in one private vault instead of seventeen folders and a glovebox.
Can Nomad look at a document for me?
Yes. Attach a PDF or photo in a chat with Mira and she reads it on the spot, so you can sanity-check a form before you file it. On Concierge, every document is checked against the official checklist before you file, with vetted attorney and CPA intros for the work that needs a license.
How do I share a document with my attorney or CPA?
Create a share link from the document. The link works for 7 days and then expires on its own, so old links do not float around with your passport scan attached.
Billing
What do the plans cost?
Wanderer is free, no card required. Nomad is $49/month or $490/year. Concierge is $99/month or $990/year. The full breakdown of what each tier includes is on the pricing page.
How does the free trial work?
Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial. Cancel any time during the trial and you are never charged.
How do I cancel, switch plans, or change my card?
All self-serve, no email required. Open Settings in the app and choose Manage billing. You can update your card, switch between monthly and annual, change tiers, or cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Household and co-users
Can my partner or family use my account?
Better: they get their own. Invite them from the Team page and each person signs in with their own email, working from the same shared plan. No password sharing, no forwarded links.
What can a co-user do?
You choose when you invite them. Editors can work the plan with you: check off tasks, upload documents, talk to Mira. Viewers can see everything but change nothing, which is right for the family member who just wants to follow along. You stay the account owner either way.
Calendar
How do I get my plan into my calendar?
The Calendar page in the app gives you a private feed link. Subscribe to it from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook and your dated tasks and departure day appear alongside the rest of your life, updating as your plan changes.
Why did a change in my calendar app not show up in Nomad?
The feed flows one way, from your plan out to your calendar. Make changes in Nomad and your calendar follows. Edits made inside your calendar app stay there.
Contact
How do I reach a person?
Email hello@nomadlifestyle.io. Billing problems, a stuck sign-in, a question the product cannot answer, anything.
Where do I read up on destinations?
The country guides cover visas, taxes, healthcare, and neighborhoods for the places people actually move to, and the resource library has visa breakdowns, topic explainers, and free calculators. All of it is open, no account needed.
Still stuck? A person reads every email.
Tell us what you were trying to do and where it stopped working. You will hear back from a human, not a ticket number.
